Strip beds and towels from rooms and wall tents, and replace with clean items. Clean bathrooms. Replenish in room supplies. Dust ad remove marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum rugs and wash floors and windows. Check that all appliances are functioning, and report any maintenance problems. Remove garbage & dirty laundry. Clean campground toilets and main lodge bathrooms. Experience or willingness to assist with food preparation and clear up an asset.
Requirements/Qualifications
Candidates must be fully committed to customer service, and have attention to detail.
Must be able to negotiate stairs and carry work related equipment over uneven ground. Must be able to lift and carry loaded laundry baskets and garbage bags without assistance. The ability to reach overhead, bend, twist and kneel is essential.
Be willing and able to multi task as well as be energetic, enthusiastic and self - motivated
Be able to adapt to work as part of a team or independently. Be comfortable in spending time alone in remote areas. Proven ability in working safely, in managing risks, and working in accordance with standard safety procedures. Driver’s license an asset.
Additional Information
Wages paid in accordance with Yukon Territorial Government Employment Standards Act, $13.71 per hour, may be negotiable dependent on experience. Must be willing to be flexible with working hours, depending on demand. Living accommodation included. End of season bonus available.
Start and end dates are flexible. Ideally starting mid to late May, terminating mid to late September.
