Duties will include the preparation, planting and maintenance of a productive raised bed vegetable garden and its subsequent care.
You will be responsible for maintaining beds of native plants, a wildlife pond, natural hedges, vegetable garden and grass cutting.
Mowing of lawns and air strip with the use of a ride on mower.
Hedge pruning will be done with the assistance of power tools.
Ensuring that the property continues to be well maintained and manicured
Guiding customers to their assigned room or campsite.
Requirements/Qualifications
Be willing and able to multi task as well as be energetic, enthusiastic and self - motivated
Be able to adapt to work as part of a team or independently. Be comfortable in spending time alone in remote areas. Proven ability in working safely, in managing risks, and working in accordance with standard safety procedures. Driver’s license an asset. Spoken English.
Additional Information
You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, increasing to over 40 hours per week in the height of the season. Salary will be negotiable dependent on experience. Living accommodation included. End of season bonus available.
Start and end dates are flexible. Ideally starting mid to late May, terminating mid to late September.
